Help Blackberry vines!!! grrrr.
I have a hug problem with blackberry's in my back and side yards. It took me forever to cut them all down and they just grow back really fast. I need advice on how to kill them for good. My back yard looks like a mess because of them.
Re: Help Blackberry vines!!! grrrr.
Don't hug them. SOrry. Can't resist making fun of the typo.
Seriously though, cut them as low as you can to the ground. Put some Round up on it where you cut. Be careful though, if you spray, it could kill other plants around it. You could even just dip a brush into the Round Up and paint it on where you cut. You will want to repeat. Especially if it rains. The Round Up will eventually work it's way into the root system and kill off the plant.
I recommend this also for any other persistent volunteer plants and trees.
