Our new fancy bed set is dry clean only. I would really like to wash it but we don't have a dry cleaners close by. Is there a way to wash it at home?
Re: Bed spread
You could try one of those dry cleaning kits that they sell at the local grocery store BUT I'm not sure if the included bags would be big enough and your dryer would need to be big enough for the comforter as to not wrinkle it.
If it's not really dirty and you just want to freshen it up why not try spraying Febreeze fabric refresher on it and put it in the dryer on low heat.
Otherwise, I would locate the nearest drycleaners.
