BR: MB and Other Vera Baby Bag Users

So, even before I got pregnant, I've been wanting the Vera Baby Bag. As I talk to moms with the bag, I'm hearing mixed reviews. I know we've talked about baby bags a lot on here, but I want to just know how you ladies feel (especially MB as I know you've been using it for almost a year now- omg!) about my beloved Vera.

Someone said they had the baby bag, and ended up using the Weekender instead because of the size, and one of my best friends used the Villager for hers. I just really love soft quilted fabric and the ability to clean it (also why the baby bag wins for me, its lined inside!) but I need to make sure this is what I want before I drop $94.

Re: BR: MB and Other Vera Baby Bag Users

  • I still absolutely love my VB Baby Bag.  As a matter of fact, we bought an LL Bean bag for Chris so that he wouldn't have to carry around Symphony in Hue, but we still only use the Vera bag because it's just so handy and so far has been able to hold everything we've needed it to.

Of course there's nothing wrong with using a VB tote for a baby bag!

A way to get around the pricetag -- 1) baby shower gift.  2) Choose one in a sale color and get it online, especially when they're having an even greater sale special.  3)  Go to an Outlet.

One of my friends used to work for a store that sells Vera and she has a LOT, and she's used the baby bag for almost 2 years, and now she has 2 kids and still uses it. It's amazing the amount of stuff she can fit in there.

Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
  • Good, I like to hear that they are used for a long time. The one thing I was worried about was fitting everything in, because someone told me it was small, but Vera is very stretchy, so maybe they had too much. :)  I'm hoping to get it at my shower. I wanted Sittin in a Tree, but Matt likes Baroque better and that's not a sale color yet (I keep checking back just in case.)

and Chris can totally pull off Symphony in Hue
