Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I've recently been applying for new jobs and although I feel like my resume clearly conveys my strengths and experience I do not feel like there's anything that sets it apart. Living in Michigan I'm faced with a bad economy and serious competition so I would like to do whatever I can to get my resume noticed.
Does anyone have any tips or ideas? TIA!
Re: Resume Help
Do you think it's OK to bring your resume in person when they specifically request you to e-mail it? I can see my current boss being turned off by someone doing this, but I guess it could be different with everyone.
I definitely agree with the idea of following up.
