Interview could not have gone better. I loved them. Like, I sorta felt like I was just hanging out with my friends except occasionally one of them would ask a tough question. After about 30-40 mins, they told me about what benefits they offer and told me to email them "what it would take for me to make the move" and then they would get back to me after that. EEEK!
Sooo I'm waiting for DH to get done with something he's working on so we can discuss what I'm going to send to them, and I am so anxious to send this email. How would you word it?
p.s. They emailed me withing 5 minutes of me leaving and said"thanks for a great meeting, we look forward to hearing from you soon."
Re: The report you've been waiting for
I have no immediate suggestions...but that is AWESOME!! It sounds very promising!
This!!!! Woo Hoo!
This.
I'm so excited for you. It sounds like it could be a very good fit. I would start the email by thanking them for their time and saying something along the lines of enjoying getting to know them. If at all possible I'd wait until Monday to send the response or early this evening. You don't want to seem too anxious. You could end it with somthing along the lines of I look forward to meeting with you again soon.
Eeek! How exciting & a great way to start a vacation. Cheers!
Ohh, that's exciting!
For the email, make sure to let them know that you are interested, and maybe list a couple reasons why you think you and this job would be a good fit. When I used to interview people a lot I liked it when they would refer to something discussed in the interview (such as, your projects in emerging markets sound like they'll be a great contribution to Megacorporation). That showed they were paying attention!
And ask for a lot of money too of course
AHHHHH!! That's awesome! I agree that you should wait to e-mail them until Monday (if you can considering you are on vacation). I would do the e-mail in sort of a thank-you/follow-up letter type of form.
Can't wait to hear what happens next!! I'm in a tight pretzel for ya!

AH! Such great news!!! I'm so glad to hear that it went so well! It seems like they really loved you (just like we do!).
I agree that you could include your expectations and pay requirements in a thank you/follow up letter format. I'm happy to lend my HR skills if you need some help!!

This! I like the idea of waiting until Monday to let it settle in and not seem to anxious (even though they seemed anxious emailing within 5 minutes hehee but it's better that way than the other)
