Happy Monday!

How was everyone's weekend? What did you do? What's up for the coming week? Let's chat! :)

Re: Happy Monday!

  • Good morning! We had friends out to visit this weekend and had a great, chill time. We took them to the walkway bridge, a local brewery and grilled at our house yesterday. It was a lot of fun.

This week is calm I think. I'm going twice to yoga and finishing a painting project.

  • Happy Monday!

This is going to be a great week!! Why? Because I only have FIVE working days left until our vacation!!!!!

    Whoo hoo!!

  • Good morning!

Weekend was good. Had a 5 mile run Saturday morning, followed by shopping for new running clothes. Then I worked on making the curtain for the kitchen window.

Yesterday we went to the shooting range in the morning to try out DH's new pistol. Then we spent way too much money at Costco. And we wrapped it up with dinner and coffee out with a couple of friends.

Interspersed in there was some work on my closet/craft room. We ripped up the carpeting and are going to put laminate "wood" flooring in. So I spent some time yesterday researching what kind of floor to get. Ugh... I feel like I'll never decide!

  • Saturday was a family day. It was nice to hang out and chill, just the three of us. We went and saw Kung Fu Pand 2, it was pretty cute but with all of my recent back pain, I had to stand through parts of it.

Yesterday one of my closest friends got married. I absolutely adore her! She looked amazing and soo happy.

I've now made it through all my pre-planned events so baby 2 can come at any time now and I won't have to cancel any appointments/events! Super exciting!

  • The weekend was ok.  Saturday was a lazy day.  Sunday we hung out with friends, swam and then went to dinner.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming weekend.  Our friends are having their big annual 4th of July bash!!!  It's always an awesome event.

  • DH was in Vegas for a bachelor party, so I was riding solo.  Friday night, I went to a friend's for dinner and hung out.

Saturday was quiet-waxing appointment, run, and ordered pizza.

Sunday-went to SF to Alice's 97.3 'Summerthing' in Golden Gate Park.  It was free and fun!  One Republic, Matt Nathanson, Parachute, and Michelle Branch performed.  Weather was great-even got sunburned.

This week-phone screen today for a job, lunch with a friend, and much of the same from previous weeks-job hunting!!

  • My weekend was good but super busy. I got lots of house projects done and we also bought a new Mini Cooper Convertible (well 2 years newer than our current). This week I have family coming into town for the 4th. Should be fun!

  • Sounds like some good weekends were had!

Mine was kinda sad and sucky since C left for his deployment, so I won't dwell on that. But I'm looking forward to this week- I'm packing up and tying up loose ends in Misawa and will hopefully be hopping on a plane to CA within the next week! Soooo excited!!!! I'll be knocking on all ya'lls doors to hang out very soon! :)

  • Howdy! This weekend was our big move, so we're exhausted and living in a sea of chaos and boxes - with no hot water until tomorrow! A month ago I ingeniously booked a 90-min massage for yesterday so that was really nice and well-timed. We're not online yet so I have to spend a few hours at Starbucks today (oh darn) to get some school stuff done, and I'm having lunch at DH's work and need to squeeze in a trip to Costco. Tomorrow I'll be sitting around waiting for the locksmith and the PG&E guy in the morning and I have a haircut in the afternoon, Wednesday is my clinic day, and Thursday and Friday I'll just be unpacking as much as possible because we're having a 4th of July BBQ on Sunday. Phew, can I just crawl back into bed?

  • Such a nice weekend! Friday we went out with friends to a couple bars and watched the Giants game.

Saturday we had a pool day and I got burned :( Saturday night we went to the Pink party in the Castro.

Sunday we went to the gay pride parade and then walked around the civic center and took it all in.

I am exhausted this morning, but it was worth it.

  • Our weekend was really good.  On Saturday we went to a free Food Festival and I really enjoyed it.  The stands were just OK (mostly informational, not a ton of food samples), but the Main Stage presentations were awesome.  We saw Tiffani Faison from Top Chef, Joanne Chang of Flour and Myers+Chang, the founder of Toscanini's (a local artisan ice cream join), etc.  Learned some stuff and just had a really nice afternoon.

Yesterday we played some beach volleyball and then went over to my parents' place for some BBQ.

Now I'm looking forward to the short work week since my company gave us an extra day off on Friday--four-day weekend, here I come!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Saturday - DH wasn't scheduled to work so we put up our gazebo on our patio in the back and ran a few errands. Yesterday I went on a run, DH had to work, but DH's parents ended up buying us an early birthday gift (mine is in Aug, DH bday is in Sept) which was a patio set...score!

  • This weekend we packed, on Sat I had my going away GTG in Berkeley and yesterday we had dinner at the Counter with DH's family. This week marks 10 years since I met my husband (at the same place where we had the going away GTG actually!) We're moving this week, a friend is coming over that I haven't seen in a couple of years and MIL wants to take me shopping before we leave. I don't know if we'll have time for that last one. It will be a busy week!
  • We had a winetasting weekend in Anderson Valley and stayed at a really cool dome house in the woods. It was awesome! We came back with many a bottle of wine.

Stumpy, Sorry about C leaving :( that is always hard. I am not looking forward to the day where DH is on a 3 or 6 month boat! But I absolutely can't wait for you to come to CA so I can meet you!

  • I had a non-eventful weekend. Friday night I cleaned the house, Saturday was a lazy day, and Sunday was church was grocery shopping. It was really nice Saturday night so H and I sat on the back patio and had a few beers. We read for a while and then we talked for a couple of hours about this and that. It was really nice to just sit and talk like we were back in college.

  • My weekend is still going as I worked Saturday and had today off. Painted in my future dressing room, ran errands and rode along with dh at work last night. Apparently it's been a working weekend.

  • Big hugs, P!  That would be SO TOUGH.  I don't know how you do it.

My weekend was great.  My mom came Friday and we got pedicures, had lunch, ran errands, built a diaper cake together for my shower Saturday.

Saturday, I hung out with my mom a bit, had a nice lunch with T and ran some errands, took a nap, and then had my shower.

Sunday was a day of more errands, another nap, and maternity photos with our friend <3 ...
