I haven't seen you posting lately -- how are you feeling? Ready for baby?
Re: ::Booger+Bear::
I'm here! I've been crazy busy at work with normal stuff and trying to get things ready for maternity leave. Feeling really good still - getting beat up all day by LO but that's a good thing right?
We are slowly but surely getting the last things ready - I can't believe it's just over a month left.
How are you feeling? How's all the house work coming along?
I can't believe it's only another month or so! How much time will you be taking off of work? Have you chosen any names?
I'm feeling pretty good -- can't complain too much. House projects are coming along slowly, but surely. We have another month or so on the kitchen, then we can move to the basement. Not fun!
Glad to hear you're doing well!
I'll be taking 10-12 weeks off depending on a few things, but probably 12 weeks. We are pretty sure we have a name, but we want to wait until he's born to make sure he looks like the name we picked lol.
Glad to hear you're feeling good - over 1/2 way done now! Getting lots of kicks and jabs these days? You guys are team green right? Any feelings on boy vs. girl?
Once the kitchen is done I'm sure you'll be so happy - and the basement hopefully won't be as disruptive to every day life. You'll have to post some before/after pics. Was your kitchen still the great 50s look or had it been updated at some point? Are you guys totally gutting everything or just redoing some stuff?
How did you make out with the flooding issue? Did you end up losing a lot of stuff?
I'm feeling lots of movement inside, I've felt a few things from the outside. But not strong enough for Andy to have felt anything at this point.
Yes, we're team green. I have no feeling either way, but Andy thinks girl -- although I think that's because he really wants a boy so he figures it must be a girl.
The kitchen was original, but the cabinets had been resurfaced at some point so it wasn't HORRIBLE (but close). We had wood paneling, which we were surprised to find out there wasn't any wall underneath the paneling at all.
We made out OK with the basement. We lost the carpet, a couch (we were planning to get rid of it anyway), and we had to repair the hot water heater. Andy is going to replace some of the dry wall where it was wet and we need to replace the doors because they were warped by the water and they no longer close. We were covered for $5,000 from insurance so that should cover it.
What did you do for your nursery? Did you post pics?
