So has an official date been decided?? DH says I can make the trip to NYC to hang out with you ladies!
The sooner I know the better so I can buy a plane ticket at a reasonable price

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
LOL! Yeah, NY is not known for it's frugality :-)
That having been said, I will most likely grab a room in the city - I'll wait until the itinerary is finalized before making a final decision where, but I have a couple of places in mind. One not far from Central Park, if we do something in that area. But nothing in stone. To Mel's point, it would be advantageous to make the reservation sooner, rather than later, as availability may get limited. We're talking about a week after the 9/11 remembrances. There may be a lot of additional visitors to NYC around that time...

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
The main plan was for Sunday, and the overnight was just for anyone travelling from a distance (i.e. us, Stacy, Liz, Mel, Cindy ??) that we would have a "travel day" and a little more time. It was an option if we want to- I was going to make a post about who would want to do the overnight and bunk together.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Once we figure out what's going on I would love to bunk with someone on Saturday night.
Also, we some how need to figure out how we are traveling if we are meeting up on route. There's quite a few trains that come through Richmond, so I think it would make more sense for me to drive to Baltimore and get on with the ladies up there.
@Laurms: Any suggestion on what town we'd look at when searching on hotels.com etc?
I'm game for bunking too Liz!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I'm only about 45 minutes away from the city but we stay there when we need an overnight getwaway. There are some good options on hotels.com, between 150 and 200 a night and when you split it its obviously cheaper. If we need 5 or more rooms we might be able to get a deal from the group sales department if we go direct to the hotel.
