Last week of June and 1 week til 4th of July!
Re: Monday Randoms
Cannot believe June is almost over. D&M that sounds so fun!!
I thought of Chymes this weekend when I got a fountain drink from McDonalds. I will always think of what she said...but I LOVEEEEE fountain Diet Coke....yummmm. Hopefully there was no shot of mold included.:)
Summer needs to SLOW. DOWN.
Fountain Pop is like Heaven in my mouth.
Great Wolf Lodge is awesome. Mere had so much fun. I can't wait to go back. I'm waiting for another booking special to get us a room.
We went there for our honeymoon and it was awesome.
I want to go there so bad!!!! So you thought there was enough for little guys to do? I've been wondering if maybe it was just a little above Henry's head.
I really want to go to Great wolf lodge, I know Ben would love it! I'll have to be on the lookout for special rates so we can afford it lol.
And summer is flying by! Our first beach trip of the year was yesterday, I could live on the beach and never get sick of it. I'm in the wrong state!
And McDonald's fountain Diet Coke is like the best thing ever
I've always wanted to go to Great Wolf but I think SS has gotten to old for it now.
We haven't made it to the beach yet but usually don't get to until July or so.
I think I strained a calf muscle at the gym yesterday? If I flex the muscle it hurts just a bit. I can still walk and all but it was strong enough to make me think twice about going to the gym today.
SS is going to be gone Tuesday night through Thursday with my Dad to help my Uncle in Ludington. So we will be kidless for a few days.
Glad you had fun at GWL! A few of my CW's have brought their kids there and had a blast. :-)
I am so ready for the long weekend. We were in town this weekend, but ended up being crazy busy. Starting Monday feeling exhausted isn't the best thing in the world. :-/
There really was a lot for him to do. He had SO much fun. We spent 4 hours at the park on Saturday and 5 more hours yesterday, and he was busy playing non-stop both days. He absolutely loved it.
It's worth every penny.
Now my mom and sister want to go, so we're planning a trip (as of this morning...haha) to go December 24th-26th and are staying in a KidsCabin suite.
For sure!
I went to Indy this weekend for my girls trip. We went to the minor league ball game. It was getting close to the girls bedtime, so I called home to tell them good night. I was trying to find somewhat of a quiet spot to make the call. I realized I was on the other side of the fence the smoking section (outside the gates to the park). At first I was like
when I saw that a group of smokers had two kids with them in the midst of all the smoke and then I was
when I saw that one of the moms had a baby in a baby carrier strapped to her front body and was smoking above the baby's head. That is so so wrong.
They were part of a group whose work had rented the party deck before the game. Another "mother" from the group was mad at her 2-3 year old and pratically dragged her up the stairs by one arm and was hitting the child on her but with the girls shoe. It fell off when the mom was dragging her upstairs. My mom was in the bathroon during this time and didn't witness it, but proceed to tell me that she could hear a mother yelling at a "baby" in the stall and hitting her on the bare butt and dropping "f' bombs like crazy. It was the same mom.
These poor kids.
I don't know, the waterslides were pretty cool. H has a blast on them. There were definitely kids of all ages having fun.
Hi!
I recently told my H Chymes' story about fountain pop. That story disturbed me.
We went to see Hairspray over the weekend. It was so, so good. I highly recommend it.
That would be a bummer.
Oh my goodness. That's a situation where I might have had trouble biting my tongue. So sad.
Ugh, how frustrating!
Man...my whole section who witness the mom with the little girl just gasped and starred in shock. I hate stuff like that, because what are you supposed to do? I could have said something but would have probably gotten my azz kicked. It wasn't like I could run away fast with my mom and her bad foot. They were with a big group and it wasn't the classiest group of people. You could take one look at people and gues if they had a red wrist band on.
The stadium barely had any ushers working and I didn't see any security working.
Yeah. I have to do it again. F$@#! I'm really annoyed.
That would SO piss me off...so sorry to hear that!
For those of you who use blogspot: have your template designs ever randomly changed on their own? Suddenly my blog looks like the desert? I'm changing it back, but... weird.
I ended up going to the gym. According to my log on Sparkpeople I've reached my goal in calories burned this week. I've only gone twice maybe I need to change my burn rate.
Tonight the boys are going to have salmon while I have flat iron steak. I still don't like fish.
I think fish is nasty lol
My boss emailed me this morning to tell me I did an "awesome job" last week.
I like being recognized for hard work.
Also, perfect timing since my review is tomorrow.
Tee hee. Sorry for being the fountain pop party crasher.
For what it's worth, I still imbibe from time to time, too.
We went to the U2 concert last night. Our first and probably only time to see the band. Good gracious, it was a fun show.
It's our eight-year anniversary today. We were all set to go to Reserve for the first time - called to make a reservation and found out they're closed for a private event. Disappointing.
