We lost one of our tigers at Tiger Creek this Saturday
It was so heartbreaking...Sultan had advanced Kidney Failure and in the end it was better for him to be put to sleep then try to medicate him when he hadn't been eating since Monday. I know that he is better not hurting, but it broke my heart saying goodbye. He was one of my favorites at Tiger Creek..I just hate saying goodbye!
We each got a chance to love on him after he had been sedated which was really bitter sweet for me being able to lay my head on top of his and kiss his nose and say good bye to him up close instead of through his cage. I just wish it had of been under different circumstances
RIP Sultan

Re: </3
So sad!! But at least you were able to spend some time with him and get to know him.
Side note - it sounds like you are totally loving helping out at Tiger Creek! I'm glad you found something that you love doing! And I hope that things are going better at the vet office you work in - have they made you a tech yet?

I'm very sorry!! I'm glad you were able to love on him.

Thanks ladies. It was hard, but at the same time I'm amazed by how many people's status/profile pic I've seen about him on facebook from past interns and people that have come out to tiger creek. Its truly amazing how many lives he touched!!
Lauren-they did move me up to tech (which is why I"ve been so MIA!) Its keeping me soooo busy and I"m so exhausted by the time I come home each night! I love it though!!! How did your B pics go???
