Anyone do anything special for their anniversary?
H and I were supposed to go check out Luray Caverns (even took the day off to do it!) but we got an email from the mortgage counselor with a list of things he needed ASAP for the underwriters, so we went home, and then it was too late to go. 
But we had an AWESOME dinner to make up for it. Anyone do anything fun?

Ours was last Sunday. I feel so bad b/c I still haven't gotten H anything. This has just been a crazy week at work.
Anyway, H surprised me with a gift card to the spa for a massage, mani/pedi and some other things. I haven't used it yet, but definitely looking forward to it. Then on Saturday night we went to dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse It was beyond delicious. It was the best steak I have ever had. I almost had a heart attack at the bill, but you only celebrate your 1st anniversary once.
Sunday after dinner we ate our cake. It actually wasn't that bad. The icing tasted really good and the cake wasn't all dry and hard like we thought it would be. Everyone couldn't believe how good it tasted.
He took me out to the restaurant where he proposed. The night he proposed, he started with a James Avery charm for my charm bracelet (to throw me off of the ring). At our anniversary dinner he gave me another charm- this time a onesie with Carter's name and birthday engraved on it. So sweet
I gave him Rangers tickets (baseball). I also paid for all the beer and food that night. Fun, but not near as sentimental.
