Our last post was nearly a month ago. And I've been gone longer than that; busy schedule now a days!
I interviewed for a new position, hubby's temporarily unemployed, we have a new puppy, and life is crazy!

I'm so sad our board has died down!
I'm due to have a baby any day now.
DH is back to working normal hours (yeah!) and we're all ready for Tater Tot to arrive. We're looking forward to having a warm summer free of injuries this year.
It is really sad our board has died! My friend just got married this weekend and she talks all the time about how she loves her Knot month board. I kind of miss those days when we were on there daily venting to each other, looking for advice and announcing our most recent checks. Now we're all back to the grind of daily life.
I'm still working where I was when we got married. I was promoted to a new position and I am enjoying it. Hubby is still looking for a permanent job - it is SO TOUGH out there!
I plan on taking a drawing class because I need something to do. The weather here has been horrible so getting outside is not enjoyable. I'm excited for that to start up.
Oh we also were looking for a house and have an offer hanging out at the bank on a short sale. It's been sitting there for 2 months now so I'd love to hear something back sometime soon. If that falls through we may just give up on the house hunt for now. When a decent house in our price range comes on the market it is usually gone within a day or two. In our price range, it is not a buyers market. We offered $18k over asking price on one house and got rejected... yeah. It sucks.
Anyway, that's about it!
I'm around, obviously under a different SN. The old one I used for AIM many, many years ago and with a lot of people I went to high school with now getting engaged, I wanted a little more aninimity. I think the board died since everyone went in such opposite directions. So many went the TTC route soon after the wedding and then a few are going the TTA route for a few years... so we're not all in the same situation like we were over on TK. It's sad.
I'm still extremely busy traveling. With the project expected to be coming to an end in a few months, I'm hoping to be able to work from home more but we'll see. I'm almost at the highest level possible for the hotel rewards club so I'd be bummed if I missed it by a few nights.
We just adopted a dog two Saturdays ago (June 4) so we've been really busy with that- getting him a crate, bowls, etc, vet visits, grooming, starting obedience training. Unlike our little guy, this dog requires daily walks so we've had to incorporate that into our lifestyle now (well more so DH since he's the one home). But he told me last night pants are starting to be loose on him, considering he's gone from pretty much no daily exercise to almost two miles a day. Overall things are really good for us.
It's a dog's life!
I hope the board doesn't die completely. I still pop on over here to see what you girls are up too.
Not much new here. We have been on vacation for the last week and a half. So it has been nice having DH around to help with the little man. I'm excited summer is here and plan to spend a lot of time at the beach this year. Anybody else have any plans for summer?

I'm a little late to the party......haven't been on this board in forever! May was a crazy month for me at work, I started taking classes and DH left to go back to Canada for six months.
Things are going really well in Vegas, I am going for my Certification in Wedding Coordination & Design. I absolutely love the program that I am taking, but it is a lot on top of working full-time. I am also interning with a few hotels and independent wedding planners. I graduate in August and hope to start my own independent planning company on the side this fall.
DH signed with a different team this year, so he is no longer in Edmonton. I have a bunch trips planned to go see him, hopefully that will help with the long distance. I also have a lot of visitors coming to Vegas this summer.
We're still TTA for now, we are unsure if we want to buy a house here or not. Right now I am living with my Uncle who has a massive home and plenty of room. When DH gets back in November I think we are going to rent a house for a year until we figure out what we want to do. Still not sure if we are going to stay based in Vegas or move back East eventually.
I will try to check-in more often!

I'm even later to the party! I haven't been logging on to my computer much.
Munchkin is growing everyday, I'm still working the same job I was before the wedding and contemplating starting a non-profit, DH is still working the same job, and we just bought a house in May! That's about the biggest thing going on for me.
