I kicked my job-applying into high gear, and it looks like it's paid off! I have an interview this afternoon with an organization I'm kind of 'meh' about where the Director/my would-be boss seems a little...kooky. My expectations for this one aren't too high (plus my commute time would increase by 30 minutes each way AND she said working hours are usually 8am to 7pm. Blech.). But whatever, it's good practice.
I have another interview on Monday afternoon for a position similar to what I do now, but at a bigger organization. I'm pretty excited for this one!
THEN a friend/former coworker of mine who encouraged me to apply for my DREAM JOB (event operations!) in April at the university she works at contacted me to let me know the hiring manager was looking at my resume and was interested. It would probably be less money than I make now, but for a job I would LOVE I'll totally take it!
I'm hoping one of these pans out. Any job-getting dust you can send my way would be greatly appreciated!

Ha! I'm jealous of your clean house - we have more dust than I know what to do with!
An update on Friday's interview: it was probably the worst experience of my life. The interviewer spent a good 20 minutes berating me. She kept asking the same question over and over, using different phrasing (essentially, "why do you want this job?") and asking if I had experience in specific areas. If I didn't (which - if it's not on my resume, I probably don't do it) she would ask me "why not?". Um, it's not something my job requires me to do?? THEN she told me I need to be better at articulating my skill set. Twice. SO BAD. UGH. I knew I shouldn't have gone
Any confidence I may have had in job-hunting before is totally shot. If neither of these other (potentially) two opportunities work out, I'm taking a big break and trying to make the best of my current situation.

Thanks, everyone! Your dust (or T&P!) helped because I kicked yesterday's interview's asss! Even if I don't get the job, at least I'm in better spirits after Friday's disaster.
Thanks again!!

Oh, I would absolutely NOT want to work for her at all! I just couldn't believe the lack of...social skills? Business savvy-ness? I don't even know. The whole thing just gave me a creepy feeling...the office was furnished with such random stuff! It was a third floor walkup (and the stairs were WAY too narrow to be up to code)...just red flags everywhere.
BUT, in good news, I have an interview with the university at 3pm today! I talked to the hiring manager on the phone yesterday and I think we really clicked; I liked him a lot. It would be a pay cut for me, but for the awesome benefits they have AND the amazing work I'd be doing I would definitely still take it!
Eeek! I'm really nervous for this one.
