Luxury down the shore?
I haven't been to the jersey shore in several years, but we are going to go for a long weekend with DD in September. I want to go somewhere with things to do (thinking Cape May, Wildwood/Crest/north ww, other suggestions? Not OC). But I also want a heated pool, oceanfront balcony, CLEAN room, maid service, and as funny as this sounds, nice beds. All the hotels seem to have those nasty nylon bedspreads. Yes, I'm sorry, I'm a hotel snob!! ha. DH and I both travel for work and are accustomed to 4-5 star hotels. I know we may not get that down the shore, but want to be as close to that as possible.
Any recommendations? How about any nice oceanfront condos? I hear there are new condos all throughout North WW and the Crest, but I am not coming up with anything in google searches.

My family went to this hotel in Wildwood Crest for over 10 years. I love it there so much. http://www.portroyalhotel.com/
They have daily activities for kids (in fact, my parents used to have most of their days alone as we were older!) and the pool and deck is really nice. There's a restaurant on the patio for lunch, a restaurant inside the hotel for dinner, and a game room for kids. The trolleys pick up in front of the hotel to go to the boardwalk and they used to run till 10 or 11 at night. It's also next to a little park, a place to rent bicycles, and the beach is way less crowded down there although it's a really long beach.
We use to rent efficiency hotel rooms/apts with kitchens and separate bedrooms. They accommodations were super nice and it looks like they've all been reno'd since I've been there.

The Bal Harbor is nice, Ocean Front, with many pools! It is in Wildwood Crest!
