Hey ladies
My sister and BIL are moving back to Houston from the Netherlands for a job he will likely start early September. This is sooner than they were planning and, thus, they're looking to get into a nice rental until they're settled and ready to purchase.
She's asked for my suggestions for a realtor to help with the process, but my realtor is no longer in the business and I don't know if it might be beneficial to work with someone who has had prior international clients?
Any recommendations for a realtor that might fit this bill are greatly appreciated!
(Feel free to PM me and recommend yourself if this is up your alley - I know there are a few highly recommended realtors on this board
)
TIA!
Re: Realtors / International Nesties
lmao ... love it... I wonder if she'll chime in ;p
I responded! Thanks!
Thank you!!!!
They're not really sure yet. The new company is off 610 @ 290 but they've talked about being close to DH and I and our other siblings in the Copperfield/Cypress area.
They've also asked about areas that would be similar to Amsterdam in terms of walk/bike ability and community feel. Heights / Montrose come to mind but I'm not sure.
Are you gently rebuking with gentleness or are you just being caddy?
Heights would be at the top of my list, with their list of needs in mind. I think that is the only part of town that is truly walkable and has a strong sense of community. Garden Oaks would be runner up. If they're in the right area of Garden Oaks, it's convenient to many things. Near either Ella or Shepherd would be the best locations, as those are the major streets that have the businesses. However, they could still bike easily from any portion of the neighborhood.
For that feel, this community comes to mind: http://www.bridgeland.com/
Really lovely walking/biking paths, good community activities that they put on, and close-ish to you
Thanks, I responded!
