Update on the kids & PsIP

Tara asked how they were in as different post so I thought I would just start a new post about the.

The kids are doing great! We had their 4 month well baby check up last Friday. It was about 3 weeks late because our ped's wife had a baby at the end of May and he took some time off to be with her. Reid was 12 pounds 4 ounces and Miss Addison was 11 pounds and 5 ounces. She is now on the growth chart! yay! She just made it into the 3rd precentile. That is for her actual age (4 months 3 weeks). They both got 2 shots and handle them like champs. The get a little fussy on the ride home but then they act like they didnt even have shots. And the best part is they sleep very soundly though the night. :) They have been hitting some major milestones lately. Which is awesome to see. The ped is EXTREMELY impressed that they are so advances emotionally and physically for being 7 weeks early. They are actually a little advance to where the real 4 month olds are at. We are very blessed to have some smart, healthy babies. Addison is starting to teeth, but she has been in good spirts, thank heavens. And the best part is the kids are almost 5 months old and they have yet to get sick, knock on wood.

(Tara) Nursing is going well. I was so sick of pumping still 2 times a day on top of exclusively nursing them through the day that I just decided to cut it them both out at one time. It worked for a  little bit, but at my job I dont have consistant pumping times through the day. So my supply has took a hit. I am slowly trying to get it back to what their needs are. I have added 1 pumping back into the day and I am now pumping after each of their feedings. BOOO!!! We have to supplement them after the feedings now.  Thankfully I have about 1,000 plus ounce of frozen breast milk. So we are just supplementing them with that. But we are doing good otherwise nursing. The kids are really starting to latch on themself which makes it 10 hundred times easier. LOL.

and if you made it this far.. here are the pictures. :)
