Etiquitte/Gift WWYD?

DH's best friend got engaged in December, wedding is in February. In March, we went out to celebrate their engagement and our pregnancy. We gave them a bottle of Prosecco and an engagement card. They're having a family engagement party next weekend that we're invited to. They haven't registered. I'm expecting to be invited to the shower, and DH will help organize the bachelor party as he's a GM. We'll also give them a wedding gift. Should be bring another gift to this party (if so, any ideas)? Just a card? Nothing?

Re: Etiquitte/Gift WWYD?

  • If you've already given them an engagement gift, I wouldnt think another gift is necessary. Maybe just offer to bring cookies or something, but otherwise you're looking at a lot of gifts at all those events!
  • I agree with DP. I don't think multiple enagament gifts are necessary.

  • I'd think it's not necessary, but I'd probably bring a bottle of wine or something for them anyway.

  • I don't think you have to do anything, but I probably would bring something small.
