The Voice (spoilers, sort of)
So, what did everyone think? I definitely like Javier and Vicci the best, but am not sure which I like better. I think I am leaning towards Vicci because I feel like she's unique. Javier is really good, but I feel like there are other "Javiers" out there, if that makes any sense.
Also, seriously, C Lo. That get-up was insane.

Re: The Voice (spoilers, sort of)
I haven't been watching since the beginning, but only randomly catch snippets here and there. I saw the opening last night, though, and I have to say, I HATE XTina. She cannot sing, she plays the Mariah Carey "I'll just sing high notes loud and long" role. Her hair is a mess. So, by the time I got to C-Lo's bathrobe, I was "meh." For me, he's just the "Eff You" guy, and he should have left it at that.
"What is a week-end?"
I've also been watching a little here and there. I think Vicci is probably the most talented all around, but I also really really really like Dia. I think she looks like Jessica Alba and sounds like Jewel and could probably be groomed to be really impressive. I think Javier is good, but I agree that there seem to be a lot of kind of cute, soulfoul, male artists out there right now.
I started watching because of my massive crush on Adam Levine, but now I am completely head over heels in love with Blake Shelon. Could he be cuter?
As for Christina - she's just a mess, and I'm getting tired of looking at her boobies.
DH and I have a theory that there is a requirement that Christina show a certain percentage of cleavage on every episode. I also thought it was obnoxious that she sang her own song.
I like Dia, but I don't think her singing is as strong. Beverly is great, but I just think Vicci is a better singer.
Also, what did you guys think of the judges performance of Under Pressure? I thought it was pretty sucky. I still love their version of Crazy from the first episode, though.
Lastly, I still don't know what Blake Shelton sings, but I love him. He's both hot and hilarious, which is a nice combination.
THIS. I texted a country music-loving friend last week and asked, "Has Blake Shelton always been this hot? I had never even heard of him before this show!"
I fast forwarded through a lot of last night's show. The opening performance by the judges was horrid. Absolutely horrid. I thought Adam and Javier's duet was the best of the night.
I think all of the finalists are a ton more talented than most of the people that end up in the finals of American Idol. Of the original songs, I liked Dia's the best. I think Dia or Javier is going to win.
