  • If were guessing length of labor than I am guessing 3 hours or less.

    I knew there was a reason I liked you so much ;) 3 hours I can totally do!  I'm actually worried it's going to be more like 2 since B came so fast.  We'll see!

  • As long as it's after this weekend I'm good.. we have a ton of company for the weekend and I'd really rather not deal with them right after the baby is born.  Maybe that's me being a brat, but I'd like some time with just us and our parents.

    I'm thinking she'll be late though, like 2 or 3 days past my due date (July 16th).

    Definitely not!  I thought I was being generous with a short labor guess!  Mine was like 21 hours from first contraction to DD's birth.

    Apparently women in my family are freaks of nature - both of my moms labors were super short (my younger brother's was about 2 hours, from the time her water broke and contractions started, 'til he was here).  Almost 5 hours of those contractions was enough for me! :)

    I'm hoping this is genetic because my mom had extremely short labors too.  I can hope anyway lol.

    Yeah I thought even 8 hours was on the short side. Lucky girl!
