Can I just say how excited I am to be having contractions!- update
Okay, they might not hurt and aren't really timeable (except for a 15 minute period last night when they were 3 minutes apart and about 30-40 seconds long), but this is good progress! And I didn't have these with Elsie (induced with her), so it's kind of new to me. And I was freaking dh out, he kept asking "do we need to go to the hospital?". It was cute, but no honey, they don't hurt yet.
I can't wait to see what the doctor says at my appt this afternoon. Crossing my fingers that there is more happening down there.
And my mom said that last night all the aunts (and their friends), I guess she was showing off my 36w pg picture of me from FB, thanks mom, were saying that they think I'll go before or this weekend. Step-dad thinks so too.
I am sooooo ready!
Update from appt- 3cm dialated, over 50% effaced and soft. Eeek!

FWIW, I never had contractions with Addie either. I was induced at 40 weeks, 1 day. With Ry, I swore I was having contractions, and my doc said they were Braxton Hicks, and I would know if they were real because they would be painful.
Well, the next week I started having them hard core. However, I was convinced that they were Braxton Hicks, because they weren't painful. I decided to go in that morning anyway, and good thing I did, because I was in labor!! I think I was around 3 1/2 cm when I went in.
