Those in the papio/bellevue area w kids
A coworker of mine has her 3 yr old grand daughter coming to stay with her for a few weeks. She's looking for fun, cheap ways to entertain her. She lives in Bellevue/papio area. Are there any free splash parks around there? Any other ideas. Already has papio bay, zoo, childrens museum and bounce You on the list.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Ohhh...good thread!! I am getting my nieces and would love ideas as well...but I am willing to drive through-out Omaha. I know some movie theaters have specials on certain mornings..maybe check out Twin Creek....
I think Twin Creek does have cheap movies. On Tues or Wed.
Here is a list of things that Alissa has done/will be doing w/ Kids Club, and it's generally all in that area.
Wildcat Lanes
Nebraska City Tree Adventure (obv not in Papillion)
Zoo/Imax
Papio Greens (they just did this yesterday, loved it!)
picnic at Seymour Smith park
Arrow Head (not sure what that is)
Rose Theater
Halleck Park
Tour of HyVee
Amazing Pizza Machine
Squirrel Cage Jail
Railwest Mules (not sure what either of these are)
Walk to the Library
I know not all of these meet your requirements, but just some ideas!

The Papio Splash Park is great. My girls like to go to Walnut Creek lake and run around/play on the playgrounds. They also like to go to the pond at Hallack Park.
Fontelle Forest has a great little nature play area for kids.
....might want to call Fontenelle Forest first - last I heard, they are flooded out in a bunch of places there.
Assuming that they don't have too much flooding, I would vote for fontenelle forest too. It's great.
