1st trimester: Did you do the quad screen? Did the added component make a difference in the result? No, we didn't do any of the genetic screening. Next time, I think we will, but I'm not 100% sure.
L&D: What was the difference between your due date and your delivery date? Did your due date ever change? My due date never changed. I delivered 3 days before my due date (and was induced 2 days before that)
First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath? Probably on one of the first days home. Ellie did not get a bath at all in the hospital (they just cleaned her up, and sponged off her hair)

L&D: What was the difference between your due date and your delivery date? Did your due date ever change? 6 days...EDD moved a couple days here and there with the ultrasounds, but not enough to officially change it.
First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath? A day or two after we got home, we gave him a sponge bath. We did sponge baths on the newborn insert on the bathroom counter for the first month, then moved him to the tub with the newborn insert. **
**Honestly, this was one thing I was super nervous about. I knew how to change diapers, feed him and cuddle him, but I was so scared for some reason about bathing. Will he be too cold, too hot, am I doing it right, is the tub to big for him, I don't want him to slip around etc. I think that's why I did the sponge baths for a couple weeks after the cord fell off.

L&D: What was the difference between your due date and your delivery date? Did your due date ever change? My due date never changed. I delivered at exactly 39 weeks via c-section due to his breech position.
First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath? I think it was either the first or second day home. We had one of those big sponges that we put in the sink for him to lay on. It was more of a sponge bath until his cord fell off.

dd1 and dd2 will each have their own room. The age difference is 12 years apart though.
3rd trimester: Did anyone experience pre-eclampsia? Did you have to be put on bedrest?
I have been really lucky to not have experienced this
Only 7 more days until my EDD!!! I think I felt my first BH this morning1st trimester: Did you do the quad screen? Did the added component make a difference in the result? My doctor wanted me to do this, so I did. Everything came out great.
L&D: What was the difference between your due date and your delivery date? My delivery date was 8 days after my due date. Did your due date ever change? My due date changed slightly during the first trimester.
First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath? We bathed Rose for the first time the day we were released from the hospital (her cord feel off while we were in the hospital so we used the tub). She hated her first bath and we learned we need to warm the water up a bit more than what we were told in class for her to enjoy her baths.
Do you have any suggestions for making it taste good?

IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.

Yes, and not sure if anything was different, all tests were negative.
2nd trimester: If you?re pregnant with #2 (or more) will #2 share a room with #1?
DS # 1 and DS # 2 will eventually share a room, but not right away, although I know DH would want to if he could. DH wants to make the nursery/ guest room into a computer room, which will only work for so long, as the boys need their privacy around age 8.
3rd trimester: Did anyone experience pre-eclampsia? Did you have to be put on bedrest?
Not yet. I had the beginnings of it when went in at 38 weeks to be induced with DS # 1, so far so good.

First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath?I don't really remember...maybe a few days after we got home?

L&D: What was the difference between your due date and your delivery date? Did your due date ever change? I delivered on my due date, probably because of having my membranes stripped the morning before (I went into labor the night before my due date).
First days: When did you give the baby his/her first bath? Not for at least 2 weeks, because of the cord. We did occasional sponge bathing until then.
Updates: Our 4-month appt. was rescheduled, so I now have 2 more weeks before having to deal with shots.
Good thing, because I'm a mess today.

TTC: If you?re drinking red raspberry leaf tea, how often and how much are you drinking? Do you have any suggestions for making it taste good?
I didn't drink it while TTC, but I drink it now. Since about 27 weeks, I've had 2 tea bags per day, steeped for 30 minutes or so, and poured over ice. I like plain, unsweetened tea, so I just drink it like that. My plan is/was to increase to 4 tea bags/cups worth at 35 weeks to birth, but I recently bought the capsules and am going to probably just take it that way from now on. The amount I still need to research (would love advice from people who know how many mg I should be getting!).

Yes, we did the full NT + quad. The quad screen did not affect the results of the NT scan...everything came back great.
2nd trimester: If you?re pregnant with #2 (or more) will #2 share a room with #1?
This is obviously #1, but our plan for now is that if/when #2 comes, we'll make our current guest bedroom (which is HUGE) into a big kid room/play room for both kids (but Baby #1 alone initially). Baby #2 will sleep in the nusery we've put together for baby #1 until he/she is ready to move over and #1 and #2 will share a room for several years.

So far, I have had zero complications and zero need for bed rest. Hoping it stays that way
Updates: Had my 32 week appt yesterday and today I got my note to go out on leave one month from today! I am counting the daaaaaays! Everything is going great. I can tell that there are going to be some discomforts over the next two months, but I feel really fortunate that everything has been so great and even though this is the time to start getting uncomfortable, this is also such a fun fun time of feeling the baby move all the time and feeling like I'm really connecting with him/her. We hired our doula this week, and I'm starting to feel really excited for the birth. We also were offered/gifted some maternity photos by a great friend on Sunday, and so far I love what I've seen. It is so nice to have them, and I'm super grateful. All is well! 2 months to go

Feeling done R - I am ready to pop. I go into the OB again on Friday, I hope I go into labor soon, anytime now.

My doctor wants me to go, so I'm scheduled for August 1st!
