so, if you bf and got pregnant with #2
What was the affect on nursing/supply/etc?
My mom told me that I stopped nursing immediately when she got pregnant with my little brother. I was about 8 or 9 months old. My issue is my supply has dropped significantly in the last week or so. I used to get enough to fill his daycare bottles (3 6/7oz bottles) for the next day plus surplus. Now I'm down to being able to fill one bottle and maybe have 2 extra oz. DS just turned 10 months on Saturday. I'm not pregnant yet, just wondering what's up.

I def. saw a supply drop over the first couple of months. My dr. asked me to ween by the time I was 20 weeks along anyway for the health of the new baby. Not all docs have this perspective, but I followed his advice.
It was nice to have my body back a little bit before I felt the new baby starting to take over

Same thing happened w/ dd1 around that age and she had to be supplemented w/ formula. Did not have this problem w/ dd2 b/c I was home and nursing her. I attribute it to using the pump and my boobs don't like the pump and it killed my milk supply.
Also, day to day changes like not drinking enough water shows a big difference.... getting your period might affect it too.
I just remembered last night about milk supply w/ first ... I and K had thrush and I think that was the biggest thing that killed my supply.
I think you should take a pregnancy test though and report back to us. I've heard of people getting pregnant while breastfeeding.
