WTF did the power go out last night for like 2 hours? now i've gotta catch up on my shows online.

and WTF won't the one guy who's here go ahead and leave so i don't feel guilty shamelessly watching them on my laptop? the dude doesn't do much...so he needs to go on with his long lunches and running errands or whatever and leave me be

WTF do I have to sit outside Sunday on the National Mall and go to the dress rehearsal for the July 4th festivities. I bet its going to be hot and crowded as hell. I love my MIL I really do but DAMN!!

LOL!!! Yes it's the one for the DC Fireworks display. Last night I am in the kitchen where I took part in the following conversation:

DH: My Mom said we all have plans Sunday evening

Meredith : Hmm What are they?

DH: The dress rehearsal for the Fireworks downtown

Meredith : Confused Tell your Mom, that MY mother has plans for me that day. It's called sit in the AC, on her couch and watch bad TV.

I'm not sure - I think just a chain hotel. We are going up with H's whole fam damily for his brother's I-Day at the academy. Anything we should see/do there? H and I are sneaking off to Baltimore for a night, too. I'm excited! On a totally unrelated sidenote, how do I change my location under my username? I am NOT in Switzerland anymore...

Go here : http://www.middletontavern.com/ or Obriens ( same owner) I love Baltimore's Aquarium used to spend 2 weeknds there as well at that Inner Harbor Marina.

i will say, speaking of fireworks...one of my FAVORITE things around the 4th when i was still at the tv station was the annual CPSC "here's why fireworks are so dangerous" demonstration. cuz they blow up watermelons and have child mannequins set each other aflame.

True story......When H's Dad first moved here his Mom and Sister came to visit for July4th. They all went to see the Fireworks at this venue :

MIL sees a man run as fast as he possible can screaming " Run" the fireworks went wrong and started shooting off inside the building. Fireworks rained down on my MIL, FIL, and his relatives from Turkey. I am pretty sure DH's Grandma and Aunt gave the United States the side-eye!!

WhyTF is my DH so gung-ho about running and yoga lately??? Its getting on my nerves! We have dinner at my grandmothers tonight, which he fully plans to show up late for, so he can make it to yoga tonight. Hmm I'm giving him the side-eye for this one.

WTF are the parents of the kids at my parents' neighborhood pool?! They took over each stair entrance to the pool so they could play a ball game. So bascially, you can't get in and if you make it in they splash you and tell you to move or else. I almost got into a fight with an 11 yo. I told him they need to move (but of course they won't) and when he almost hit me with his ball, I threw it in the deep end.
