well good morning ladies.
slept like crap last night. and i have an appointment this evening with the "lady doc" if you get my drift. JOY.
in other news, made homemade pitas and chicken gyros on the grill last night...and not only were they fabulous, but gerren, hater of all things delicious, LOVED them!
i want a tan and a million dollars please. and to lose 35 more lbs.
that is all.
Re: happy humpday
hello all!!
Add me to the list of bad sleepers last night. My allergies are really getting to me, and I find that I sleep better when I can actually breathe! :-)
It's supposed to start getting hot and humid today and carry into the weekend. Will make for an interesting weekend.
I decided last night, during my worst commute ever, that I would love to win the lottery for the sole purpose of not having to drive every day. Every freakin idiot in the county was going the same route I was. It was ridiculous! Good thing I didn't have any kids in the car with me, otherwise they would have been going home with a whole new vocabulary! :-)
Happy day all!
Good morning girls! Another slow moving week. I hope it picks up from here on out.
Yesterday the Slomin Shield guy was out all day rewiring everything and installing new motion sensors on the doors and windows. An electrician also came out to give us a quote on the motion sensor lights and three outlets outside. The hose guy is coming out tonight (previous owners cemented in the hose hook up. No joke). I will be so happy when this is all done and we are no longer hotfooting around trying to be home for contractors. Thank God MFD works mostly from home.
Last night I made BLTs, the king of sandwiches. After I ate I cleaned up, ran the dishwasher, and packed lunch. I watched The Glades on DVR, then purged some in the basement as I was dusting.
I also watched my baseball husband Cliff Lee's third straight shut out, dusted the living and dining rooms, wiped down both baths and reorganized all of my coupons.
This morning I slept in until 7 so I could get my 8 hours. I also changed our sheets. I wanted to stay home. Badly.
I am wearing pants today and I should've worn a skirt. Balls.
Yesterday I finished one proposal today started on another. Shizz has been utterly insane at work.
Today I would like PW's vat of iced coffee ready made in my fridge, all new appliances, a world without spider webs but one in which the benefits of spiders still exists, to lose my spare tire around my middle, and one million dollars.
Yummy.... Even though I don't add the T. Last summer Greg and I ate them weekly. I also like to add cheese.
Sometimes I do just the L&T, and when Jersey tomatoes get really good, just the T.
We spend most of the summer eating sandwiches and easier stuff that doesn't require stovetop or oven cooking.
Good morning! I'm having a hard time getting going this morning. I slept well, but didn't go to bed nearly as early as I should have. I blame this stupid puzzle I was trying to finish and just couldn't.figure.out. Stupid sky pieces all look the same!...
I suck and skipped zumba last night, but I didn't feel well. I think maybe I have blood sugar problems. I eat my lunch and within a few hours I'm shaking and feel lightheaded. I try not to eat sugar a lot, so I wonder if I'm going too far in the opposite extreme. In any case, I guess I should probably go see a doctor, but it's hard finding time to get away from here...
Anyway, glad it's hump day! It's all downhill from here. We get an early out on Friday and Monday off. Thank you sweet baby Jesus!
Today I plan on dusting, working on some laundry, and possibly scrapbooking and laying in our hammock. It's looking like a beautiful day, and I plan on taking advantage.
!!!! i hate how i will sweep and dust and less than 24 hours later there are more spider webs. so annoying. spiders--i love that you eat other bugs, but must you clutter up my home? secondly, i want to lose my spare tire as well and lastly i always want a million big ones.
Blog
we would be a perfect match b/c I don't add the L. Give me your T and I'll give you my L!
I could go for a million dollars as well. And more sleep. I'm so tired. I'm sleeping a lot too. I just can't get to the point where I feel rested.
I have to give blood AGAIN today. Lame
Taking a yoga class after work. My ILs are twisting my arm, but I know it's for my own good.
Decided I'm working from home tomorrow and Friday. And not visiting any clients till next week. SCORE.

Me and the T on BLTs don't get along.
I also would like a million dollars.
Today is my friday and Im fricken excited.
I have a bazillion things on my mind and I just want to run away.
Good morning!
So yesterday work was busy and it rained for about 6 hours straight :-(. I also had to walk 4-5 blocks in the rain because some azzwipe at McDonald's decided to swipe my cheap umbrella as I was turning to get my ice cream cone and diet coke (I had time to kill before my chiro appointment). I went to look for it and it was gone as was the person who stole it.
After getting home, dinner was almost ready. Ended up putting chicken pieces (w/bone in) in a crockpot on low with a can of broth and roasted tomatoes, cooked fresh corn on the cob and some noodles. it was so good!
Anyway today, work from home and Allie Earp dog has her last basic obedience class :-) Then we'll go to IL's house so FIL can pinpoint the other problem with my ride
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
It's H's birthday today so I'm taking him to a Portuguese restaurant that we've never tried before. Should be good
Not much else to report except that our little doggy momma is getting her ultrasound next week so we'll know exactly how many pups we'll have to pick from in her litter. Breeder tells me she's getting bigger and I'm waiting for her to send me a picture!
Oh, and I have kicked up my treadmill routine because my body got used to what I was doing and the workouts were starting to feel too easy. Since kicking it up, I have lost 6 pounds over the past week and a half, without changing my diet at all (I eat healthy anyway). Happy, happy, happy.
Yay, Wednesday! Which is my Thursday this week. I'm going to be out of the office all day at a meeting, which I'm actually happy about, becuase I've got so much going on here. Not that it helps me get any of it done, but at least I don't have to look at it all day.
We take a red eye tomorrow to PA, and I still haven't packed, or done the million little things I wanted to do, like getting a pedicure. I've got an appointment with the reflexologist/massage therapist tonight, then hoping to pack, so I can go get a pedicure after work tomorrow. Not sure how I'm going to make myself stay awake until 12:30, when our plane leaves!
leo - who steals an umbrella?! omg, if I ran into the perpetrator I would have beaten them with the umbrella until it snapped. And then I would have had a pleasant walk in the rain
city - what kind of doggies are up cooking up?
mushE - where in PA are you headed to?

Stephanie - oh they aren't cheap here, either, but I have been doing so much research on different breeds, etc, and I know this is the best fit for H and I and our lifestyle, so I'm willing to shell out some extra cash for one. Plus, the breeder I found is unbelievable and has been really great about answering all my questions every step of the way, so H and I feel really good about it all.
Diab - I originally had my heart set on a pug - the squishy face thing
- but I ended up falling in love with Frenchies. We'll be picking out the actual pup once they are born at the end of next month. Pictures and puppy breath are coming soon!
Hello all! How are you ladies today?
I found out yesterday that my license was suspended 6 days ago because of a ticket I can't afford to pay. It's not even a ticket that gives me any points or gets reported to my insurance. WTF?
If you're looking for something amusing to waste time on, check out www.dearphotograph.com It's a cool blog where people take a picture of an old picture where the original one was taken. It's hard to explain, but it's cool when you look at it.

Dats - Are you kidding me with the suspension? That sucks!!!!!
Beging pregnant I should have listened to you but I went anyway and I am not teary..
Not like yesterday when i was over on the Pet board and someone posted something about their pet dying I could not finish reading it I almost started really bawling.

Steph - they are so cute! How could anyone resist those faces? I have been a dog lover living without a dog for too long. I am so excited to take the puppy to doggy training classes, on errands, on walks, to the beach, etc. I may need to ask all the dog-owning ladies here for some tips!
Datsyuks - wicked cool site, but I am also now teary-eyed. Especially the one with the couple on the bench "Thank you for everything we had." That one got to me.
www.dearphotograph.com did not make me cry and I am a sentimental fool. Perhaps I am turning to stone. hahaha
My arm is hurty.
There is a newish lady in my zumba class. She thinks she is hot *** and talks crap before the class to her skinny little friend. She is a fahking disaster DURING class, standing TOO CLOSE to people and bumping into them. Me, mostly. I keep moving my spot every class to distance myself from her, and every effing class no matter what she ends up next to me, because she cannot follow the instructor. When we move up she moves back. We move back she moves up. She is going to cause a major accident. hahaha I flail my arms like a loon hoping she will stay away. Hence a hurty arm.
It was probably some tweakhead, I was in downtown Berkeley and all walks of life are out there. seriously.
