Staycation suggestions
Just an overnight... where would you stay & what would you do? (not really interested in Galveston) We need ideas!

We are doing Hotel Zaza our anniversary night, hoping to book something at th ZaSpa for that day, and then dinner out...we are doing a stay-cation for a few days around that day).
We are doing mixers & elixers at the natural history museum on Friday nite before (staying at home); checking out some of the museums we haven't seen on Saturday, talking about doing a water park, and I'm not sure what else.
EDIT: oh, and we are doing Ringling Brothers because they are here during that time. I know they have good seats that have food.
hotel zaza, icon, or magnolia. they are all close to the rail, so i would suggest breakfast in bed, a trip to the art or science museum, walk through hermann park, astros or rockets game, anything along the rail that you can get to easily!
hotel sorella is also really neat with lots of shops and stuff around.
hotel granduca is gorgeous and right near uptown park shopping-- cupcakes and wine!
the houstonian is gorgeous, you feel like you're in a park. they have a great spa too.
you coudl also do the woodlands waterway marriott and walk around down there.
