Talk to me about your razors...

So I don't know if it was this last box or razors or what... but my last two Venus Embrace's have totally gotten messed up. I lost the sticky wall holder so I've been laying it just on the tub side when I'm done. Well, the 'Embrace' part of it, the blue soft outside, has melted or goo-ed or stuck to the tub, and I've even tried drying it and laying it on a washcloth after, but it just ended up getting stuck to the washcloth!

Has this happened to anyone else? What razors do you use and how much do you love them?

I actually use disposable razors. I like Bic Soleil disposables. You can get them with either 3 or 4 blades (I get 3 because they're cheaper), 4 to a pack for like $3 at walmart. They glide nicely, the handle is comfortable, and you can get scented ones if you're into that sort of thing.

I've never had an issue with my Venus razors, but I will say the biggest waste, I think, are the Venus Breeze razors, the ones with the shaving gel already on them. That sh!t lasts for nothing, and it doesn't even work well, IMO.

I also use the bic soleil and have never had a problem. Im not very picky about my razors.

I use the Venus Breeze gelly ones.

I like them, I don't keep them in the shower, I flick off extra water when I get out of the shower after rinsing and put them in a dedicated soap dish on the etagere.

For my space, shaving cream would be an impossibility, so I'd be running around trying to grab a bunch of different things, and this saves me a step.

I buy them with coupons (stacked Target and manufacturer's) so the blades cost me about $1 apiece.

I use the regular old Venus razors and haven't had a problem with them. I still have the sticky wall case, and it makes it so much easier for me. I used to use the Bic Solei (and liked them a lot), but I'd forget to take the old razor from the tub and have to get out and get everything all wet to get a fresh one. That's why I like the Venus better...If I notice the razor's not really razoring, I can open the new head AND stay in the shower.

Ahah, both great alternatives. I may just get a new wall sticky holder since I have a few more razor heads left. I have heard good things about the Bic ones too.. so I may get a packadge of those to see how I like them.
