Wheat do you wear when DH or DW returns from deployment?
I want to look sexy, but not like I tried too hard. Do you usually just throw on anything and focus on the emotions of the moment? Dress way up? He's coming back alone, so I won't have to look particularly respectable for any of his bosses (or his guys, for that matter). What are your beauty rituals before he/she returns home?
Maybe I'm vain, but I want to knock his socks off!

You're not vain. lol.
More times than not, DH came home later at night and in the winter. So, I wore jeans that made my but and legs look good and a pretty shirt. I honestly spent more time worrying about my hair than anything. Oh and having the house look nice.
Depends. He didn't come in until 3 am once. I was very pregnant. I wore a cute pj set. He loved it.
He always comes in late, so I have to do something comfortable that I don't mind sitting around in for a while. Last time, I wore a cute button down shirt dress, a thick belt, leggings and ballet flats.
Another time, I wore a low cut, sexy top, a black pencil skirt and high heel, knee high boots with a trench because it was cold as hell.
Go sexy, but comforable. At this point, he would think sweats and flip flops are sexy, but you do want to make an impression.
I lost about 5 lbs in his two-month absence, so I'm feeling really good and I kinda want to show off.
So while we're on the subject... did you and your partner have sex right away when they first came back? My DH will have been traveling for a few days but he should be pretty rested, and as of now he'll be back in early evening. I could really use some! (can I get a hell yeah!)
TMI ALERT
I don't bring my kids with me when I go pick him up because it is usually pretty late. There have been times when we didn't make it all the way home. I don't know your H, but mine is always good to go.

I may or may not have been a part of some x-rated activities inside of Philly International.
Most of the time, DH wants to eat more than anything. One of our little "traditions" is to hit Tony Luke's for cheesesteaks before going home. It's sort of on the way anyway(and one of the few places still open at 3am).

I would go with this. Well minus the cardigan since where I am right now it is hot as all hell!
We are the "come home to the airport" type... so climate control is a nice little piece of the puzzle.
I dress up - not... oh my gawd its the oscars... but a cute, form fitting dress, covers my parts, and some sexy heels. I FEEL good and the pictures are nice.
There is something special about that moment that is WORTH making the effort for... HIM!
