How common is recurring strep within 3 months?
I had strep in April before a foreign vacation. Pretty sure I have it again and it's 3 months later and surprise, surprise, right before I'm leaving town. Is that common? I used to have it alot when I was younger, but haven't had it much as an adult and now I'm getting it twice in a span of 3 months? FML.

One of my best friends has had it recurring since March. Everytime she gets off meds it comes right back. Her doctor said that sometimes strep will just make a comfy little home in your tonsils and decide not to leave. She will more than likely have to get her tonsils removed this month.
