thing you did as a kid? Think elementary school/preschool. We'll save teen years for another day.
I was a pretty terrible kid. Actually, my brother was a troublemaker and I was a follower.
When I was 4 and my brother was 8, we lived in the 3rd floor of an apt. bldg. One night we tricked her into going outside and locked her out. She was buzzing and we wouldn't let her in. We then threw toilet paper at her from the balcony.
Also one time with a babysitter, we decided it would be a good idea to roast marshmellows using candles. On our shag carpet.
Needless to say, my poor single mom had a hard time keeping babysitters.

Re: what's the worst
I wasn't too bad since I didn't want my parents yelling at me. BUT, no one is perfect and I sure had my moments....
- Throwing mud at my friends sister and saying that she started it. Which my mom went right over to her house to talk to her mom and of course I eneded up crying and saying it was my fault.
- A summer day my friends were playing with water and I dumped a pot of water on this kid I didn't know, not realizing the water was way too hot since it was sitting in the sun in a metal pan. Luckily he wasnt burned.
- I was just mean to my little brother. It was my way or the highway. If I wanted to play school and he wanted to play house, I wouldn't play with him until we played what I wanted and so on.
I am sure there was more but I just can't think of them right now.

Wow, Kristin. I will make a note not to mess with you!
I super-glued my brothers sheet, blanket and pillows to his mattress.
Mom was MAAAAD.
Like when KFC gets your order wrong?? LOL
Stand up for something you believe in.
The most trouble I got into was when my sister and I would act up for my grandparents when they watched up. My mother cared more about her pride and how she was viewed as a mother than anything else, so if we ever acted out, especially in public, it was like the worst possible thing ever.
They also got pissed at us if we didn't clean our rooms when they told us to. Like, I remember Saturdays upon Saturdays when they would ground us to our rooms and we couldn't come out until they were clean.
It eventually got to the point where I feared my parents' reactions to anything I did, so I didnt even think about doing anything..... until I was a teenager. Then I just rebeled and blatantly did whatever they didnt want me to do out of spite.

especially pre-teenager, I was a pretty good kid. I was quiet, always reading. My sister and I used to get into it pretty hard core though. But nothing really more than typical sibling fighting.
Although once I did convince her she was adopted. My hair has always been curly, like my moms. Even when I was younger, it was real wavy. My sister had this cuper straight, thin hair. (not anymore, her's is thicker and curlier than mine now). But at the time I told her her hair was straight because she wasn't really my sister, that she as adopted. She was like 5. That was pretty mean.
You guys were too good! Like I said, I was a pretty evil child. At least I think I turned out okay, so if anyone has a mischevious child, there is hope.
Saturdays, we used to go to my dad's house. My brother and I and my two boy cousins were always up to stuff. We once threw whoopie pies at cars while hiding behind a rock wall. Someone got out of the car and chased us. We're lucky no one got hurt!
We also took my grandmother's remote and went outside the window and changed the channel/volume on her. We got caught because of my giggling.
I was in general a good kid too. Most of my bad behavior involved interactions with my stepmom who was trying to be my mom and I didn't like it. They tell me a story that when she and my dad first got together, I was 3 at the time, we were at a family party and in front of everyone I stood in front of her and yelled" Ssssssnake!" and then went screaming through the house; she was insanely embarassed and my grandmother loved it (she did not care for my stepmom). I also once took a full box of cereal off the table dump it on the ground, stomped all over it and walked away leaving it for her to clean up...I was 6 with attitude.
The meanest thing I ever did though was to my poor sister. She's 6 years younger than I am and has always looked up to me. When I was a tween I got stuck babysitting her and my brother a lot when I went there for weekends and it would piss me off so I would take it out on them and be mean. Once my sister was singing this sister song from a Barney tape that she loved, I was annoyed and I told her that she wasn't my real sister because we didn't have the same mom and that I was happy she wasn't. She cried all day and I felt so terrible. I never said anything like that to her ever again.
I'm sorry, cause your poor stepmom, but this made me howl. I'm still laughing.
Ah kids, so cute.
This was me, without the rebelling part. I was terrified of my parents until I left for college. Of course because they were asssholes, they found anything I did wrong and made a huge effin deal out of it to punish me. I remember they picked a fight with me the day of HS graduation just so they could ground me which prevented me from going to any parties.
It's one of our favorite stories now that we love each other but every once in a while she'll bust it out when I'm pushing her buttons and call me a "Ssssssnake!" lol
