watermelon granita
i bought a whole watermelon last week because it was practically the same price as a cut slice at the supermarket.
but now we have watermelon and watermelon and watermelon coming out of our ears. DH and I eat it every.single.day. Ava is hot or miss because she doesn't like "pits" - even though it's seedless, she sees white pits and freaks.
so this morning, when i decided to not take watermelon yet again as a snack, i got a terrific idea: watermelon granita! i cannot wait to make some tonight to have tomorrow - yum! not that i've ever made it before, but i had blueberry granita at a friend's home years ago and still remember how awesome it was
