Anyone have blackout curtains they love?
I really need to get some for Z's room. I just want to make sure they are really blackout and will make it darker in there. A lot of the reviews I have been reading are mixed.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone have blackout curtains they love?
I have some in my dining room that work great, I will check to see if I still have a tag on them when I get home. I think I got them at Penny's or Sears though.
I have been going back and forth on these for the the nursery, then some people warned me that if the baby gets too use to the darkness it might not go down as well when we are other places. It's like you can't win, the nursery gets a TON of morning light though so I still might just do it anyway.
Wow. I feel like this post was written for me. I'm trying to decide right now what to do about blinds for the baby's room. I don't think we're going to have curtains and the room faces the east so it definitely gets pretty bright in there in the mornings. I would love to see more recs. I got a few in a previous post but it can't hurt to get more.
ETA: Jess - your siggy pic is precious!
We got them for Kiley's room. I got them at target.
There are kinda like this:

It's called the Thermaback brand, they have a TON of them. Pretty reasonable,.
Her room is light and her furniture is white so I feel like it could be a bit darker. We have blinds in there and they work fine except that due to the placement of her crib (since it can't be under a window) the light peeks out the sides of them right into her crib.
She goes to sleep fine but since it's so early (6:30-7) I feel like it should be darker in there.
One of the reasons I want them is so she correlates darkness with sleeping when she's in her room. As it is, I do her normal bedtime routine (just shortened) when she goes down for naps so it would be helpful if it wasn't so damn bright (especially for her morning nap).

We have blackout panels from JCP in our bedroom. Even w/o closing them all the way they definitely help with the light that peeks from the side of the blinds.
I think they are these: Linden Street
Wives Unscripted
This is exactly my thoughts. I only worried about daycare I guess.
oh and don't worry about daycare. They magically get all kids to sleep and even all at the same time!

I bought mine on Overstock and I thought I had saved the link but I don't have it.
I LOVE having them. I often say they're our best 'baby' purchase. Campbell's room gets bright and HOT in the morning so they've been such a help. I thought about the concern of not being able to sleep in lighter rooms but he does fine at my mom's house and she doesn't have them in his room there.
I also have some from Overstock but they are more of a thermal barrier than blackout, so we have some black out panel over them from Ikea.
I plan on using those in the baby's room because they do not totally block out the light but it gets really harsh morning light and I just want to dilute it.
