Hello there, I need some advice. I am on the look out for a new job. I need to leave this job as soon as I can for serious and various reasons, but I am coming to a snag: FI and I will be getting married 9/10/11 and will be leaving for our honeymoon that following Monday. We will be gone all week. What I'm trying to figure out is if I need to suffer for another 3 months or should I start the job hunt and just advise the interviewer of the already scheduled trip?
My FI and I work at the same place and he is also job searching as well.

I do this a lot. I just have all of the "what if?"'s stuck in my head.
if you do find a job, you will be FAR from the first person to start a new job w/ a vacation already planned! this happens all the time. My DH started at a job and less than 6 months later needed to take 2 weeks off for our wedding and honeymoon!
Once you're offered a job, you can then let them know that you'll need a week off.

I went through the same situation last year. I didn't start applying until August (though I was selectively applying and only send resumes out for 2 jobs), got a call in September and started the new job in November.
I think you're safe to start looking now just to get an idea of what is available and how the economy is in your location/industry. If you get an offer, be prepared for them to tell you that vacation time wouldn't be paid.
