Tomorrow is Canada Day, so us Cannuck's will be off, so today is fake Friday and I'm excited.
It's so very nice to be home. Although Meka decided to show her excitement by leaving a giant pile of cold cat puke on the floor at the bottom of the stairs this morning. Awesome.

Hello ladies. I'm tired today and just looking forward to the weekend. I wish I had tomorrow off, but instead I'll just have to remember to bring my Canada flag to work and wave it around a bit.
This evening DH and I have our first appointment with a specialist to talk about our lack of success TTC so far. Not sure what the next steps will be, but at least I feel like we're being proactive.

Good morning! I'll be around tomorrow, unfortunately. I think that most of my office is taking a vacation day tomorrow so it will be very quiet around my office. I'm not sure if this will be good or make for a very boring day.
Tonight my plan is to get ready for the weekend. That way when I get off work tomorrow (hopefully a little early), I'll be able to throw my bags in the car and hit the road.

Nothing much planned for today. I am heading home finally after my conference. I ended up staying last night with my parents again because I met up with a friend from high school for dinner and I was exhausted and didn't want to drive 2 hours home.
I'm going to stop on the way home today and have lunch with Ed, then I'm off to the grocery store and then getting my hair cut. I should be home by 3:30 or 4 and may or may not run. Then we'll grill tonight. Other than that, no plans.

Morning ladies.
Today is my fake Friday as well. We leave tomorrow to go camping for a couple of days, and I can't wait. However I somehow caught a head cold (downfall of working in the corporate world) and feel like crap. Seriously, I want to crawl under my desk and sleep. I would have stayed home, but I wouldn't have been able to sleep there either.
Otherwise today will be getting what I can done before the long weekend. Tonight pulling out the camping stuff, figuring out what to bring for the boys and packing up the van.

Morning all! Today is gonna be a bear, but then, I'm hoping things will calm down slightly. Tomorrow should be fairly quiet around the office, and I'm hoping to use it to get some stuff out of the way so that I don't have to work this weekend. I definitely need a break. When I got into the office today, I almost put my blackberry in the fridge instead of the fruits and vegies I brought as snacks.
Sushi, I hope this evening's meeting is helpful.

Last night H was home - it was the first time I've seen him in almost a week, so it was very nice. We took a long walk and got pizza for dinner, but H still had to do work at home most of the evening and left again early this morning. I will hopefully see him again on Saturday or Sunday though.
This morning I was able to hit the gym before work, and I have my hair appointment with the new stylist this afternoon. EEK! Wish me luck!
I am super jealous of your fake Friday even though we have Monday off here.
I'm going to stop by the farmer's market on my way home this evening. Other than that, nothing much is happening here.

Good morning! Today's my Fake Friday, too--and the beginning of my 10-day weekend.
It's finally my last day at work. I am so excited, and a little nervous about how the big boss VP will act at lunch (if he comes at all--the H and I have a bottle of vodka riding on who's right about him showing or not).
Yesterday I had a great lunch with my two outreach colleagues; we sipped some sangria and reminisced about good times on the islands. Last night was great; H and I went for a small walk, enjoyed the nice evening, and sipped some drinks in the quiet courtyard near our apartment.

Woot! Fake Friday. I'm so excited to get out of town for the weekend.
The bosses are in discussing my requests/concerns I voiced earlier this week, so this afternoon could get interesting. Hopefully they don't drag this out over the long weekend.

Today is kind of my fake Friday, I have to work until noon tomorrow. I'm already in vacation mode today and don't feel like doing any work.
Tonight is workout #2 for me on couch to 5K. I think a lot of you have done C25K before, so if anyone has any advice or success stories I'd love to hear them!

Me too, if I can get out of the office. I picked it back up this past Sunday but haven't had a moment to get in the second run. I've done the program in the past but never actually completed it. This time I'm determined to keep going. If you want a running buddy, feel free to PM me your email.
Today was an interesting day at work.
My work bff is leaving us to move back closer to home and today was her last day. I knew I would be sad but I'm surprised at how much I'm going to miss her. After she left, my boss gave me her old pager so I would now have a permanent pager (until now, I had to pick up an extra pager every day)
Since it was her last day, a group of us decided to go out for lunch. Unfortunately, we also had an educational lunch hour meeting and we all decided to skip it. Honestly, they aren't mandatory and you know what? It's MY lunch time and I will do with it as I please. I go to about 90% of the meetings and we have one a week. Education management wasn't impressed.
Tonight I'm going to wait for it to cool off a bit and then try to get out for a run. I'm currently bbm'ing back and forth with my friend who is getting married in September. She wants to know if I want to drive to Kitchener with her this weekend to pick up a dress for her shower. That's a 3 hour drive! We are going to drive 6 hours in one day to buy a dress? I'm waiting for an e-mail about this awesome dress.
It had better be a fabulous dress for a 6 hour drive!
