I love your new siggy picture!! Brody is such a handsome little man.

Did you use the lens that you rented? What kind of lens?

Re: **Amanda**
Thanks ladies!! I think he's awfully handsome, but I'm pretty biased.
Yes, I used the lens I rented to take my siggy picture. It's THIS ONE from borrowlenses.com. I'm completely in love with it and don't want to send it back
I do have it through the 4th of July weekend though, so I can get lots of great shots from our camping adventure in northern Michigan.
So tell me about renting lenses. Do they just send it to you and you send it back when you are finished with it? I bet it's a good way to try out lenses before buying. (If I would have done that, I probably wouldn't have purchased by 50mm because the manual focus is really annoying.)
2012 Reading Challenge
The only downfall is they require a signature to receive the package, and I'm never home at a time they would deliver. I just got online with FedEx and changed my delivery so they'd hold it at a facility where I could pick it up. I paid $133 to rent this lens for 3 weeks, including shipping and insurance. It's a bit steep, but I'd rather invest that and capture great pictures of my family vacations then spend the nearly $700 this lens costs to buy without even knowing if I'll like it or not.
I was just going to start a new post complimenting your siggy too! Brody is such a handsome little man!!
And what an awesome picture!! It's so clear! We have a Nikon camera but i'm not very good with it. I really should try to read the manual thoroughly.
