WW Week 1 results and a great food find

So I weighed in for the first week, and I lost 0.8 lbs. Not nearly as much as I wanted to lose, but I did lose and that matters more. Oh, and at the meeting someone brought in a pint of ice cream and let us know it is 3 points per container (150 calories). The brand is Artic Zero, and they apparently have some decent flavors. She said she found it at Sprouts, but from their website there are several stores that carry it. She mentioned it tastes more like frozen yogurt than ice cream, but it is very satisfying when everyone is munching on snacks while watching movies.

Just thought I would share the find if anyone needed an idea for low cal ice cream treat.

  • Hmm, I may have to check that out. Thanks. And yea for losing!
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • SO excited about it and the website said the Whole Foods in our town carried it. I stood staring at the freezer of WF for at least 10 minutes before I finally gave up.

But this is not the end! GREAT rec!

  • Great job!

I've had Arctic Zero and it's okay. Not great (imo), but decent... It's pretty icy and not as creamy, but it works well for milkshakes/smoothie type drinks better than plain.

And I've only found it at one WF in the area... I don't think they all carry it. I've had a really hard time finding it. So, I usually stick to my no sugar added, low fat (or fat free) Breyers vanilla ice cream
