New roof, siding, shed...and AC.

That's right. It just keeps getting better.

The HVAC guy came over and attempted to comb out the AC. It won't comb out. Now, we have to add yet ANOTHER supplement to the insurance claim. AGAIN.

I'm so sick of dealing with insurance I could scream.

In good news, the HVAC guy didn't think that the AC would act up. He just said we'll need to replace it because it won't cool as efficiently as it should.

Here's to hoping the THIRD adjuster is the charm.

  • On the bright side, at least we don't have to pay for the AC, right? Big Smile

  • I'm jealous!  We are praying for hail because we need a new roof bad!  And windows...

  • We only have to replace on window, thankfully. And it's a double paned window so it isn't leaking into the house, thankfully! I'm telling you-it's the craziest thing I've ever seen. You should see the water spot in our living room ceiling. It's gross. It's from where the wind blew sideways so hard that it literally knocked our roof vent-thing to the side so water poured in for about 10 minutes. Then our neighbor and my friend's FI got up to inspect the roof for us since we weren't home (We have the best people in our lives, I swear!) and they put the vent where it was supposed to be and re-caulked it. Jon put a piece of cardboard over where the vent is. We've had 4 bad rains since and the card board has been dry. Thank goodness!

Our roof is only 5 years old and has to be replaced. I'm sad cuz (the designer is coming out in me right now..) I LOVE our roof color! It's so fun without being obnoxious. They don't make a color even close to it anymore. Sad  So we went for a basic brown and gray mix. Then the siding matches the rest of the house.

We haven't even started looking for a new shed yet.

    Baby steps.

Don't pray for hail. Hail sucks! A tornado is worse. Add them together and it's double suck ville!
