This has been my most depressing lunch ever.

First, my sister and I had grand plans for getting Chipotle for lunch... and then she got caught up in Boston doing stuff and isn't going to be back at the office at all today.

Then I resorted to the SmartOnes I brought from home today... only to find the film that covered the dish was already peeled back and the frozed food exposed.  Eww.  So I threw that in the trash.

And then I was going to blow points on cheese and crackers just to have something in my tummy.... but the cheese I had in the firdge, though not that old, was already starting to grow mold.

So now I'm resorting to a can of Chunky Steak and Potato soup.  Not the most ideal day for soup, but it's only 6 points for the can, and it's def. bound to keep me satisfied.  So yay.

 

ETA:  oh GAWD the soup has mushrooms in it!!!  T__T  I just cannot win today...

    Ugh I hear ya. I brought a bunch of Chunky soups to work also but I am so sick of them. Today was clam chowder for the 3rd day in a row. I'm making pasta to bring in tomorrow.

    I havea  turkey sandwich and some leftover vinegar cole slaw.  I want anything BUT what I brought.  My co-workers bday is on Sunday, maybe I'll take her out for her bday....

    Smoothie from McDonalds. Sounds great, but it was gross. Pineapple/mango smoothies are not for me. PS: That soup sounds disgusting. I'd rather eat dog food. Make up for it tomorrow!

    I had green pepper slices, green grapes and a Nutrisystem sweet and sour chicken that tasted ok but was an unsettling shade of reddish-orange. I was trying to be good today because we're going to ***'s Last Resort for dinner to use up a groupon but then one of our interns brought in tons of flavors of mini cupcakes from this great bakery in the city; I've had 4! 2 were white velvet cupcakes...has anyone heard of a white velvet cupcake before? I hadn't, it didn't matter, they were delicious!

    There is no description on the website but this is the website www.morecupcakes.com. They just seem like the opposite of red velevet; white/yellow cake, vanilla bean with real vanilla bean specks buttercream frosting with white chocolate shavings on top. They have some awesome looking ones including pina colada and bacon,bacon,bacon...bacon is nature's candy! :wiping drool off of desk:
