**slpmay** Chicken recipe

Ok so we dont necessarily have a recipe, but i'll do my best to tell you!!

Cracker chicken

1) IPreheat oven to 400 F.

2) cut up 2 chicken breasts into small tender-size pieces for this.

3) Take a box of crackers (we used glutino crackers...sort of a like a less greasy ritz) and crush them to a fine powder using a rolling pin or a blender. Crush enough to coat all the chicken you plan to use plus a little extra and place in a bowl.

4) In a bowl, melt a stick of butter or margarine in the microwave (we did it once w/ each and you cant taste any difference). Add salt, pepper, parsley, garlic powder, etc any type of spice you want to add to the mix and wisk together w/ a fork.

5) Make an assembly line - chicken, butter, crackers. Dip each piece of chicken into the butter/spices mixture and then coat with the crackers. Make sure to press the crackers into the chicken so they stick. Place on greased baking pan (we use Pam spray). Do this with all of the chicken pieces.

6)  If you want, you can drizzle a little butter on top of each piece of chicken if there's any left, but its not necessary. Note that this will make it greasier.

7) Place in warmed up oven for about 30 min, check after time is up to ensure the chicken is cooked throughly (i.e. juice runs clear when cut). It really depends on the thickness of chicken pieces you use. It might take 45 min if they are thicker.

8) Eat and enjoy!

P.S. due to the butter/margarine/crackers, this recipe isn't actually very healthy. But it IS tasty!
