Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Deployment extension and R&R question
This is my first deployment and I've got question (I'll ask my FRG leader also, but I figure if any of you know the answer it will be a more immediate result).
There was just an official announcement of an extension for DH's unit. He late deployed and missed getting R&R by about 2 weeks. My question is will he get slated for R&R now that he will meet the minimum time forward or will he be there until they come home?

ETA: I'm more wondering if any of you have experienced a situation like this vs asking for a definite answer. I know that there are no definite answers when it comes to the military. Sorry I was unclear in the OP!

There's no way we would be able to answer that. It's completely up to his command.
Edit: What I mean by that is no one is guarunteed R&R anyway. Just because he's technically over there long enough to qualify for it doesn't mean he'll get it.
