Where the eff have you been? How's Italy?
Congrats on the bebe by the way!
I have been in hiding...or rather trying to adjust to the culture shock that is Italy. But over all I love it.
Names-Vanessa Anne & Anthony David
ETA: Oh and BLT thanks for the congrats!
Italy-French Fries
Home-Green Peppers
Wha!? I can't picture it, please elaborate.
It is just a normal cheese pizza that has french fries or cut up potatoes on it.
Just for an extra weird FYI: They also do egg pizzas but I do not like eggs anyway so sorry no taste test from me on that one.
Very interesting.
What has been the biggest surprise in Italy?
Biggest Surprise, I think I will break this into a few things
Health and Safety Wise-The roads over here are totally, totally different as in way more slick in general and there aren't street lights everywhere making it scary to drive some places after dark.
Culturally-At least locally most of the Italians speak English and are way nice about trying to help you learn how to say the words in Italian. Also, they aren't kidding when they tell you that the wine is cheaper than water over here. Oh, I only thought I knew what good wine was before I got here.
Generally-It is way expensive to do anything over here, a normal meal that costs $20-25 at home costs closer to $50 here.
