Hyde Park Parade
What better place to celebrate the 4th of July than in the hometown of our 32nd President! Hyde Park's annual Independence Day parade, with 70 floats, bands, fire trucks, and antique cars, steps off from Roosevelt Cinemas at 10am. It heads north up Route 9 to Main Street to the reviewing stand at Pinewoods Road and Route 9. The 2011 theme is "Small Business Standing Tall".
Fireworks
July 1st, 7pm: East Fishkill Recreation Park on Route 376 in Hopewell Junction on Friday, July 1st at 7pm Fireworks start at 9:15pm
Beacon
July 3rd, 7pm: Beacon Memorial Park, corner of Route 52 & Wilkes Street Fireworks start at 9:30pm.
Hopewell Junction
July 4th, the City of Poughkeepsie hosts a dazzling fireworks display over the Hudson River. Gather at Poughkeepsie's Waryas Park at 1 Main Street to watch the patriotic display. cityofpoughkeepsie.com
Rhinebeck
July 4th, 7pm Dutchess County Fairgrounds, 6550 Springbrook Ave./Route 9.
The Hudson Valley Philharmonic performs at 7pm, Fireworks follows the concert.
Town of Newburgh are tomorrow (friday) night!
I know saturday the 2nd there are fireworks in Haverstraw and Greenwood Lake
There are some here in Chester the following saturday, the 9th
