well, crap!
I failed my glucose test. 
Now I get to spend Tuesday morning in the lab having blood drawn every hour for an eternity.
The good news: Dr said that all my other bloodwork looks great. She said I must being eating healthy and taking vitamins because my bloodwork came back as good as possible for a pregnant woman (except for the sugar...). I've gained only 18 lbs. I was up to 25 lbs by this week with Nate.
Now starts my every other week appts. In 6 weeks or so, we'll be scheduling my c-section! EEK!

How many times are they taking blood from you? I thought they just did it once at the end? Hopefully you'll pass this one so you don't have to go through all the diabetes crap!
You don't have to answer this, but how come you're doing a c-section this time around? Because of all the post-partum stuff that happened with Nate?

I can't believe you are going to be having baby #2!
They're going to take blood at the beginning, then I drink the glucose, and they said they're going to take more every hour, so 3 more times. At least it will give me a chance to finish the book I've been working on.
Yes, the c-section is recommended because of my complications with Nate. My OB would induce me early if I wanted to go that route and if the baby looks smaller than Nate was (he was 8 lbs by 38 weeks). She said that more damage to my pelvic floor muscles isn't guaranteed, but it is a risk. And the risk isn't just pain and another long recovery, but also complete permanent incontinence, and that scares me more.
No kidding. I definitely think c-section is the way to go. Good luck on Tuesday!
