I've been thinking about getting a tattoo to represent both my kids. I was wondering if there's any moms out there who have tattoos that are for their families.
I would love to see pictures or read some ideas
Re: Tattoo - Family Tattoos
Try henna first -- see if you like it; then go for the real thing.:)
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
I saw a guy once that had a picture of the baby's footprints tattooed onto his calf. You have the tattoo artist strace over an ink print of your baby's foot. The kids names were below each footprint. I thought that was a neat idea.
One of my friends has her children's names in a circle around her ankle. It's nice because the script is small and looks like scrollwork unless you are really close.
Somehow inter-twining their first initials could be cute.
There is also a tattoo that reads one word if you look at it one way, and another word if you look at it upside down (forget what it's called!) My friend has one and it's really cool!
I had seen one a woman had on her stomach/hip area - it was vines and butterflies, 4 of them, one for each of her kids. One butterfly was a bit bigger and apart from the others because one child had died.
I want a tattoo and am thinking of something for my kids, possibly their initials.
They're called Ambigram and the guy who does them is Mark Palmer
My plan is actually to symbolize my family with wolf paws or something like that. I'm torn between picking a tattoo that represents their personality, or just using wolf paws or flowers....
I personally wouldn't get a name tattooed on me.
