Dear holiday weekend,
Please be awesome. Fourth of July has always been such a party weekend for us. I know I can't celebrate like I used to, but I'd still like to have a good time! I'm embarassed to say I'm not sure how to not drink to excess when everyone else is.
Dear work,
Please go easy on me when I'm in the office for the first time in months next week. I think I might be a little bit of a mess!
Dear ladies,
My sister's flakiness the past few weeks really showed me that I need girlfriends. I'm awesome if anyone wants to hang out.
But really awkward socially and shy, which kind of hurts the cause.
Dear self,
Even thought I'm sure you looked pretty silly and red and sweaty, I'm pretty proud of you for doing Lincoln Woods with the stroller. I think you might be more comfortable socially if you managed to get into some sort of shape! For the first time in literally years you're not messing with your hormones with fertility drugs or pregnancy, so let's take advantage and see what happens.
Also, you did a brilliant job grocery shopping. Not getting proper dinner supplies but stocking up on items such as english muffins and cereal was a good idea. This probably sounds sarcastic but since the baby seems to freak out whenever I get ready to put something in my mouth, it's perfect!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
