If you left a bottle of red wine uncorked
for about 18 hours, would you consider it still drinkable or would you pour it down the drain?

Re: If you left a bottle of red wine uncorked
You drain pourers are alcohol abusers. Poor wine never did anything to do you, why you gotta treat it like that?
Anyway....yeah, it's probably no good to drink, but cook with it! Or turn it into vinegar. (very easy to do...pour it into a jar, add a spash of storebought vinegar to get it started, put a piece of thin cloth over the top, held with a rubber band to keep the bugs out, let sit in some dim corner. Magically becomes vinegar after a couple of weeks. Strain and bring to a boil for a second if you're paranoid, or just use it.)
My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!
I never would have thought of that. I might just have to give it a try. Thanks!
