Re: ....and there ya go
#1 - I live in Fort Worth.
#2 - I spent $6 on two double papers last Sunday only to open them and find that someone had taken the coupon inserts. I was extremely angry. Especially when I got to the store and found that newspapers are an item that can not be returned.
Wow.
hey if that is the biggest/worst story they have to run, I'l take it anyday!
I'd be pissed!
Bio Good Times
Leslie this is why the Tom Thumb by our house now has papers at the register and you have to ask for them. Guess they got sick of people stealing the coupons out of them.
The show has made people crazy! Hope TLC isn't thinking about giving them another season.

I saw this story last night. Leslie I'd be mad too--but a year in jail and a $4K fine? I think that's excessive and I can't believe she spent a night in jail. That's punisment enough IMO.
I agree the show has changed things. I read another article about how stores are already amending their coupon policies because of it.
The other day at Albertson's, I saw a girl with 2 shopping carts, a woman that looked like her mom, and she had a big notebook of coupons. All I could think about was how sorry I felt for the customers that would get in line behind her.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
I really think it should be one coupon per person/day/item/transaction.
If you have a Kroger coupon and a Mfg. Coupon for every unique item, fine, more power to you.... but I don't think you should be able to buy 50 bottles of mustard on the same trip (or ALL the razors, grrrrrr).
I agree! That is going waaaaaayyyy overboard and is straight-up selfish. When people do that and say "I'm just trying to help my family" think about the other people you're putting at a disadvantage because of your "thriftiness." Eeeep!

You are still mad about the razor thing!!
When I read the article last night, I thought about the coupon class and extreme couponing.
I saw this on the news!
I'd be super pissed if I bought two papers to only not to find any coupons in them too!
