s/o primer - undereye concealer?
So apparently people are using separate primers for their undereye makeup (why didn't anyone tell me?). I'm assuming this means you also use different makeup too.
Right now I just use my BareMinerals foundation, and it works OK but I think I still look pretty tired (even when I'm not!). For some reason it seems weird to use a different foundation when BareMinerals is the only thing I use, since it works as a concealer for blemishes.
So - what do you use, how do you like it, is it worth the $$?

Re: s/o primer - undereye concealer?
Ooh, ooh, a makeup question I can contribute to!!!
I just bought the Cover Girl + Olay undereye concealer and I've been thrilled. It has moisturizer swirled in to the concealer so it is really creamy and goes on very smoothly. I think it does a good job with undereye circles, and it doesn't get caked into the "fine lines" around my eyes. I even think the moisturizer helps those. And it's cheap!
I use Benefit's Erase Paste.
It is $26, but it lasts me 6 months +. I like it because it is really creamy, but has good staying power.
Stand up for something you believe in.

I don't use a separate primer for undereye makeup, but I do use a different moisturizer (since I'm getting old and wrinkly...boo :-( )
Here is what I do after washing the face (don't laugh, I am high maintenance as hell):
1) apply spot acne treatment where needed
2) moisturizer all over face (except eyes) (right now I'm using Clinique Even Better moisturizer with spf 30)
3) eye moisturizer under eyes (right now using Kinerase C8 Peptide Under Eye Treatment)
4) primer (Smashbox) all over face, including under eye area (but not eye lids) (and I don't use primer for everyday...mostly just special occasions, date nights, etc)
5) foundation all over face, including under eye area (I use Bobbi Brown Skin foundation--LOVE)
6) concealer under eyes (Benefit Erase Paste, I like it...it's one of my favorite one step concealers so far)
7) UD primer on eye lids
8) Benefit Powderflage under eyes to set concealer
9) Laura Mercier translucent powder (very, very little) to set foundation
and then the rest of the 50 tons of makeup I wear :-)
I just got this too and I loooove it. It's amazing. And it lasts all day- like all my other makeup is worn off and this is still there. I have to actually take a tissue and wipe it off and the end of the day because it's still there. I guess that doesn't speak to well of the rest of my makeup...
Oh, and I got it at Ulta with a coupon, so it was even cheaper!
I like that too, or the Too Faced concealer (but that only comes in like two colors, so if it doesn't work with your skin tone, you're out of luck).
Like bh2720, I don't use a separate primer under my eyes, but I do use one for eye shadow. I use MAC's paint tube in Untitled. It makes a nice base and has a tiny bit of color and makes my eye shadow go on easier and last longer.
