are lucite heels ever OK?
I was just thinking yesterday and realized my SIL wore lucite heels to church on Easter - at the time I thought it was an odd choice - but I was busy and didn't really think much about it. but, looking back now, I find it even odder.
I guess they are neutral and its not like they were ginormous platforms or something. They were basically strappy sandals, but clear plastic strappy sandals. Is this a trend now?
Re: are lucite heels ever OK?
Yes- they are OK on Halloween, they are OK in b-pics, and they are OK in strip clubs.
Easter? Uh, not so much!
OMG Kathryn you crack me up! Were they the clear ones?? LOL.b This reminds me of a Chris Rock joke. But anywho, I agree with others, it's only trendy if you're a stripper and/or sidewalk Sally.
Yeah, they are kinda a thing lately. I think they were on the runways last spring (?)...so they are elsewhere now.
I think something like this is probably fine. I mean...it's from Talbots for heaven's sake, how racy can it be?
But these are never ok unless you are on the pole:
My Goodness...another food blog. Featuring: Macarons from a old post with a photo taken by my mom for a break from my crappy food photos!
As Countess Luanne said, "Well, even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes."
well...yeah, I didn't say looked nice, just that they didn't look innappropriate.

They still look inappropriate to me. If I saw someone at Easter wearing them I would just think, oh this is how a stripper tones it down for a Holiday... Some things never should make it to a runway and if they do, they should stay there.
