Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Crazy Wind (PIP)
I wish I had uploaded the photo from our shed that was pulled up and set down a few feet away!
We had upwards of 80mph winds last night! Half the town is without power until who knows when. It was not a tornado but some people came in with photos of funnel clouds. It doesn't even look like our town anymore. Unfortunately a man was on his motorcycle when a tree fell on him and he died. Ugh, it is awful

Wow.
Those are some big trees. Could it have been a microburst? We had one of those last summer and it tore bricks off of chimneys, siding off of houses, and knocked over some monster trees like that too.
